InvoiceImport
InvoiceImport records Solanko Consulting’s own invoices into Solanko’s own QuickBooks Online company. It is not a product, it is not distributed, and it has no customers other than Solanko itself. This page exists because Intuit requires a public address for an application’s launch, connect and disconnect destinations.
What it does
It reads customer and product/service records to resolve references, then creates or updates invoice records. It never emails an invoice: invoices are left as drafts for a person to review and send from within QuickBooks Online.
Connecting or reconnecting
The application runs locally on a Solanko workstation and has no hosted interface. Authorisation is started from that workstation, which opens Intuit’s consent screen in the operator’s browser and receives the response on a local address. There is nothing to sign in to here, and no public endpoint accepts connections.
Reconnecting follows the same path, and is needed only if the stored authorisation is revoked or lapses.
Disconnecting
Access can be withdrawn at any time from within QuickBooks Online, under Settings → Apps → Connected apps, by disconnecting InvoiceImport. That invalidates its tokens immediately. Because no QuickBooks data is retained, disconnection leaves no residual copy to delete.
